Story

Like many others who live in Limerick, Mary holds many special memories of People's Park and wanted to create a print to commemorate and honour the Park by drawing a bouquet of flowers found within the Park. She photographed each flower and got to work on researching the flowers and hand drawing each one over many hours. The flowers found within the print are: Tulips, Fern leaf, Dandelion, Garden Grape-hyacinth, Primrose, Buttercups, Bugbane, and the Japanese Camellia. You can see from the pen strokes and detail the meticulous work that went into creating this illustration. This print is sure to add a touch of beauty and Limerick to any wall.
